TIHTC provides professional clinical training programs to physicians, nurses, and medical technicians. During the training, trainees will have the opportunity to observe the instructors and the medical environment and also learn the advanced healthcare management approaches in Taiwan.

International Dermatopathology Training Program
The dermatopathology service in Mackay Memorial Hospital, Taipei is a training center accredited by the International Committee for Dermatopathology since 2015.
The training program provides short-term attachment (less than 6 months) or long-term (6 months to 1 year) observation fellowship. Spaces are limited.
The program provides a comprehensive dermatopathology experience, including daily slide reading, clinico-pathological and academic conferences, immunofluorescence, electron microscope, and access to well-organized dermatopathology slide archives.
TIHTC encourages applicants to apply as early as possible and make sure all documentation is in order before submission. For clinical training that is longer than 3 months, applicants must apply 3 months prior to the start of the training; for clinical training that is under 3 months, applicants must apply 1 month prior to the start of the training.

Health reports are not required during this stage.
TIHTC will check if there are any missing documents. In case of missing documentation, the applicant is required to submit them within 2 weeks of receiving the notice.
Applications with incomplete documents will be considered invalid and can be declined for the TIHTC trainings.
TIHTC will match the applicants with the training hospitals according to the applicant's study plan.
Application reviews are conducted jointly by TIHTC, training hospitals, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Other supplementary documents may be required for further review.
Upon receiving the final results of your application from the MOHW, TIHTC will notify applicants via email and send the essential documents for the visa application.
International medical insurance that covers the whole training period is required.
Also note that the applicant’s health reports should be made no earlier than 3 months before the intended start date.
The copy should display clear personal information including your name, date of birth, passport number, and expiration date. Your passport should have 6 months or more validity after the end of your training.
Two-inch ID color photo with white background, and at least 1062 x 826 pixels (taken within 6 months).
The letter should be dedicated to the training you apply for, with the signature of the referee within 6 months before the intended starting date of the training.
Valid English proficiency certification or a self-introductory video in English (3-5 minutes)
Health reports should be made within 3 months before the intended starting date of the training. TIHTC will inform you when and what items are required, including:
Chest X-ray for pulmonary tuberculosis
Hepatitis B status
Serological test for syphilis
Certificate or proof of positive measles antibody or measles vaccination
Certificate or proof of positive rubella antibody or rubella vaccination
Others

Work experience should be more than 1 year, and the proof should be issued within 6 months before the intended starting date of the training (Chinese or English translated versions accepted).
An international medical insurance covering all your training period will be required.
